July 2008 Update

Hello Friends!

Well I hope you are enjoying this summer weather! Whew! If it makes you feel any better, there are only 169 shopping days till Christmas!!

Question of the day - Will price at the pump hit $5.00 by Labor Day? , Thanksgiving? Or New Year's Day??? Crazy...I've heard some very "colorful" comments while filling my tank...let's just say like most of us, they indicate - shall we say unhappiness when the fill up cost over $60.00!!!!!

O.K. - Enough about Gasoline�.on a positive note, another typical summer - Yankees vs. Red Sox; although the upstart Tampa Bay team has yet to realize it is time to "choke"!

The Bronx Zoo is alive and well with AROD and his antics�.hey I know times have changed but in their best years Ted Williams or Mickey Mantle were paid less a season, than Rodriguez makes per game! I suppose AROD laughs all the way to the bank!

How are we doing with our Index Annuity? Considering the S&P500 Index is down around 15% year to date, not too bad. I estimate that if all my clients were actually in the Index, the TOTAL downturn would be around $1.5 million dollars. So we avoid the "bear" and await the "bull" to return!!!! I of course would welcome your "passing the word" with your friends, relatives and Yankee fans - Ask them to call Vince, see if the Index Annuity fits in their financial plan!! I have enclosed a flyer that kind of sums up what I'm saying - feel free to pass it on - hey you can even make copies if you'd like!

On another subject, Allianz Long Term Care policy has just been approved by the State of Connecticut Partnership program!!! In short, this means that the amount of benefits paid from their Long Term Care policy will be excluded from assets counted for Medicaid eligibity! Need (want) more information? Call me!

Defenders Tickets "TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME! Take my tickets please! There are plenty of games left at Dodd Stadium, I can provide four tickets per request, or if you prefer two tickets for separate games!!! Call me for schedule and tickets.

Finally, on a personal note (o.k. Vince let's hear it) I am proud to say that son Tom and Heidi Roemmele's third child (to join Sarah Jean and Ila Beth,) is a BOY and is expected to arrive in October!!! He of course will be indoctrinated and his first hat will be a Yankee cap!! Take care and call me anytime!!.
